Unit 1: cropping, and contrast



For this edited picture, I cropped around the excess of the picture, causing emphasis in the lights, and focus point of the chicken. In the original picture I like how the corner of the walls create depth in the picture, however, it leaves a lot of empty space in the photo, and takes away from the focus point. 



This original picture of the river was taken on a very foggy day. I love the original, but thought this to be a good one to edit. I started by adjusting the Contrast to 100. This brightened the river, and sharpened the tree branches.  then changed the brightness to about +5. This brightened the skye and darkened the lower outer corners of the picture.
