Yousuf Karsh was one of the most famous lighted portrait photographers. He has taken pictures of so many celebrities and leaders; Winston Churchill, George Bernard Shaw, Dwight D. Eisenhower, and Ernest Hemingway. He also photographed Harry S. Truman, John F. Kennedy, Fidel Castro and Andy Warhol. I find him most intriguing because he got the opportunity to capture the pure essence of each individual perfectly in his simple photographs.
